Overlays FAQ
What is a Kick overlay?
A visual layer on top of your camera and game during stream, showing alerts, TTS, giveaways, mini-games and other interactive elements live to your audience.
How do I set up an overlay in OBS for Kick?
KickBotPro gives you a unique URL. In OBS add a "Browser Source", paste the URL, set 800px width and 600px height, transparent background. Ready in under 2 minutes.
Does it work in Streamlabs too?
Yes. Any software that supports Browser Source works: OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS, XSplit, vMix and similar.
Are overlays customizable?
Fully. Change themes (kick-neon, kick-fire, kick-glitch), entry/exit animations, typography, colors, multimedia (image, video, audio) for each alert.
How many overlays can I have?
Unlimited. You have a master alerts overlay and separate URLs for mini-games, giveaways, TTS and other tools. Each is added as its own Browser Source.
Do overlays consume my PC resources?
Minimal. They run on native OBS Browser Source, ~50-100MB RAM. Your stream performance is not affected.
